This is the first version that was circulated by a plurality of militant networks, associations, educational and even scientists, between October 2005 and December 2006. From 2007 the film has circulated in its final and traveled a few festivals. In 2008, particularly thanks to the support of subscribers, the film was released on DVD and post production.
The self-released, self-distribution, and now self-publishing of this project were grabbing in terms of time and money. The opportunity to pursue this type of project, independently, based on revenue generated by the sale of DVDs and public screenings which are continuing.

The Silence of Nanos (57:10)
a Cyberdocumentary on our technological future (2005)
The action unfolds on the screen of a computer connected to the network. Navigation in cyberspace to discover what lies behind the term nanotechnology program.
From link to link, from site to site, download download, the film reveals the history of these emerging technologies, visions and dreams which they proceed, or they generate. Issues, which are not new: our relationship to technology, development, progress, but who, before the technological revolution announced, are needed acutely.
It is therefore not a scientific and technical literature, which is the illustration or the extension of ongoing research. But it'sa reflective film on emerging technologies, a set of critical questioning and yet rational scientific activity and technological development of an anthropological perspective.
"Science does not believe," wrote Heidegger. He added that the philosophy does not think so either. "Not yet." However science dream and that's what we're talking about.

Scary movie that does not eyeing the side of fiction, Silence of nanos is a talented and dive nauseous in the heart of the scientific aberration, when science is manipulated, so totalitarian powers by merchants, police and military.
Denounced the silence of nanos, a polyphonic mode, the loss of humanity and the absolute control of identity as the living. It's a film where we find, on a recurring basis, and as hot topic, the theme of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.
Biodefense, biometrics, nanotechnology ... demiurges and murderers in white coats developed, often on behalf of the common good, if not always in the discretion of the secret, technology proliferating, dual and deadly. What is going on there on our behalf, but in the absence of any public debate, in the arcana of scientific research? Who decides what we need? Which defines the terms of scientific progress?
Technological society we market is an obvious move. His plan: establish once and the total domination of the economy on life. His motto: order, progress and profitability. His means of artificial life, generalization of social control, environmental devastation.
After The Silence of the nanos, the very virtual housewife under 50 years will observe its beauty products with suspicion and will question the exact nature of the "strange machine" used in them. The quiet domination of the mobile phone will appear less natural. And our dreams and our nightmares more often, will be populated with "nano-machines", almost invisible, indifférenciant the living from the nonliving.
